What ages do you teach? People of all ages can learn piano and with young children five years old and up is good. By five or six a child has a certain knowledge of reading, basic math and can focus in a private lesson.

Do I need a piano or keyboard at home? A basic keyboard is necessary and there are many kinds of keyboards but not all are suitable for beginners. We don’t sell keyboards but I am happy to advise you on some examples that have the appropriate features for beginner piano. You could then shop online or in stores for those models. 

What if I miss a lesson? I understand that everyone’s schedule can get busy so don’t worry, if you miss a class we can do a make up class on zoom or at the studio as you prefer. 

Do you have online classes? Yes you can take classes from the comfort of your own home using Zoom / Facetime / Google. It’s easy and I can show you how to set it up on your phone or laptop. 

What times are available for class? Classes are typically 30 minutes long and as a private lesson that is your dedicated weekly time. For currently available times please call (914) 893 6630.
